Programme
Executive MBA is a two-year Programme that offers ample scope and opportunity to social entrepreneurs, economists, social leaders, and developmental sector professionals to learn conceptual insights in political leadership and governance , public policy and governance , and public policy and engineering management. Graduates of this program would become sought-after executives in consulting organizations, multilateral development agencies, Policy Think Tanks, Action Research NGOs, Project Management Units of Government, Departments/ Ministries executing programmes & schemes, development & Commercial Banks & Financial Institutions, public affairs and public leadership roles.
For whom
The course is recommended for working professionals from varied domains: engineering, medical, business and for those professionals in the area of governance and public policy and in the development process with the governments, consulting organizations, multilateral organizations, multinational companies, think tanks and non-state organizations.
Eligibility
People with under graduate degree in any field – including humanities, sciences, engineering, technology and others with aptitude of grooming career in politics and governance. In case of EMBA Public Policy and Engineering Management, the eligibility is Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or a related field from a recognised university. The aspirants enrolling EMBA programs, should need to have a minimum of 2 years of work experience.

Curriculum
The courses covered in EMBA program are divided into Core and Elective Courses:
- Core Courses: Core courses deal with public policy concepts, theories, and practice. These courses are the pillars of public policy programs and are mandatory to be taken by all the students.
- Elective Courses: Elective courses are offered as sectoral focus in the diverse areas of public policy. Students have to chose anyone based on their interests and professional growth, which also includes options for taking up state-of-the art practicum courses

- Business Trade : Under the business track students would be concepulation their startup / social enterprise / consulting / think tank / NGO’s in the first semesters which would be continued the preparation of the business plan of second semester followed by formulation of proposal for pitching they are Startup / enterprise / business for funds in the fourth semester. The students will do a respective analysis of the outcomes of the First 3 semesters and prepares the final business plan
- Minor Project Track : Student would carry out minor projects in distinct areas covering sectarol policy / Industry Government Partnership Planning for representation for business for sector/ ministry/Government department

Practicums and Projects
Students will have a choice to study some real issues in public policies that are affecting the organisations wherein they are going to do practicum / project studies. The organisations they choose will be wide range of organisations which include consulting agencies, government departments, non-government organisations, legislative bodies, ministries, international agencies etc.
Practicum & project experience enables students to apply and expand their competencies, while providing useful service to these organizations. Further , they are aimed to enable them to have their own start-up, social enterprise or consulting organization. The students can opt for project work wherein during the first semester the student will conceptualize their idea, which would be followed by preparation of a business plan during the second semester, and a financial proposal to pitch for funds / investments for operationalising their venture. The fourth semester would be a retrospective analysis of project outcomes in the first three semesters which would be revisited and consolidated in the final semester with all refinements, thus making the student to initiate the venture if they select the project track.
In the practicum/ project, students work either individually or with other team members to address the issues faced by these organizations. Each individual / team receives guidance from their organization during the practicum. The practicums & projects culminate in the form of a report and a presentation ( Capstone Project ) which will be evaluated for respective credit.
