Message from Founder Chairman Malla Reddy University
My warmest greetings to the Chanakya School of Public Policy’s incoming students and the teaching/non-teaching fraternity!
As you all know, India ranks 131 out of 181 countries (2020), according to the United Nations Development Programme’s (UNDP) Human Development Index (HDI) report, indicating its dismal performance. The HDI is calculated based on a country’s performance in three critical areas: longevity and health, knowledge, and a reasonable standard of living.
The country’s poor ranking emphasises the need for change in the country, which the policymakers must lead with the active support and participation of other stakeholders such as educational institutions, corporates , academics, and society.
As a responsible citizen and founding chairman of Malla Reddy University, glad to inform that the university is taking a proactive approach to develop competent policy analysts for nurturing good governance.
I am hopeful that Malla Reddy University will be a university of “Parivartan”—enabling and accelerating change in India’s public policy and administration. My warmest greetings to the student body and working professionals joining the Chanakya School of Public Policy.
Ch. Malla Reddy,
Malla Reddy University.
